DBC Promotions exists because a shoebox of cards taught a lot of us our first real lessons in value, patience, and trust — long before a classroom did. We built this place so the next generation of collectors in Ohio gets that same start, with people looking out for them instead of looking to take advantage.
Kids get ripped off in this hobby constantly — sold commons at rare prices, talked out of a good pull, or priced out of a hobby that used to be a five-dollar pack and an afternoon with friends. At the same time, most shops treat the community side of the business — leagues, teaching nights, mentorship — as an afterthought, if they offer it at all.
We built DBC Promotions to put that community work at the center, not the edge, of the business — a shop that happens to also run the best free programming for collectors in the state.

Access
Free leagues and workshops so cost is never the reason a kid doesn't get to play. Every table has an open seat.
Literacy
Cards & Economics teaches real financial concepts — supply and demand, grading, fair value — through a hobby kids already love.
Trust
We publish our pricing logic and grade cards openly at the counter. Nobody leaves our shop wondering if they got a fair deal.
Belonging
New collectors get paired with experienced ones. Trade Nights are built so nobody trades alone or gets talked into a bad deal.
